Patriots Take a Peaceful Stand at Anotonia Tea Party Texas MagazineApril 15th, “tax day” in America, an estimated 20,000 people from all over Texas and other parts of the nation attended the San Antonio Tea Party.  Why did these people of all ages and incomes, representing Democrat, Republican and Independent voters, come together in front of the Alamo?  Was it to rock out with Ted Nugent, protest high taxes and socialism, learn more about Constitutional principles, or just see TV host Glenn Beck? To find out, Texas Magazine randomly asked a cross-section of patriots a simple question: “Why are you here”?

Get ready for The TAX DAY TEA PARTY here in Houston.

It's pretty simple. If you think Washington and our politicians are out of control spenders and you don't want your children and grandchildren saddled with enormous debt, then you are the one who needs to attend this tea party. It's one of many across the country.

Houston Texas Tea Party

I was at CPAC in Washington D.c. this weekend and missed the Houston Texas Tea Party. I did have a wonderful interview with Sen. John Cornyn though and he spoke at CPAC as well. We have a lot to be proud of in our Senator. See the text of his speech here.  But I did read about the Houstons Texas Tea Party and that it was inspiring and a great success.
