J. Hester Fine Arts is the culmination and collection of one man's life work, dedicated to the preservation of an era. Jay Hester has a passion for Western culture, as expressed through his oil paintings and bronze sculptures. Hester has a wide selection of Native American paintings, landscapes, and cowboy art. He has been commissioned to produce works that have been displayed in prominent places all over the state of Texas. Currently residing in the Texas Hill Country, Hester displays his work at Highland House Studio & Gallery, a 100-year-old home he restored into his own gallery. Jay Hester offers workshops and classes taught by local artists at his gallery, located in Boerne.
