Gruene Music & Wine Fest marks another year with record-breaking donation to United Way
A record breaking $72,670.49 was raised for the United Way of Comal County at the recent 22nd Annual Gruene Music & Wine Fest, held October 10, 11 & 12.
Gruene Music & Wine Fest presenters Mary Jane Nalley, owner of Gruene Hall, Mattson Rainer, General Manager for KNBT 92.1 FM Radio New Braunfels, and Sponsor Ken Sample, Senior VP of Chase Bank in San Antonio presented the donation check to board members of the Comal County United Way in front of Gruene Hall today.
The United Way of Comal County works to provide funding to support several local health and human care service agencies, including the American Red Cross, the Comal County Child Welfare Board, Girl Scouts, St. Jude's Ranch, the YMCA, and many more.
Held annually at The Grapevine and Gruene Hall in Gruene Historic District, the Gruene Music & Wine Fest features the best in live Texas music and the best in Texas food and wine, all the while rasing funds for local charities.
